Academic Eligibility for Engineering

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board.
Mandatory Subjects: Candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in their 10+2.
Minimum Marks: Generally, a minimum aggregate of 45% to 50% in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) is required. For reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC), relaxation in minimum marks is applicable as per government norms.

Entrance Examinations

KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test): The primary state-level entrance exam for admission to engineering courses in government and private colleges in Karnataka.
COMEDK UGET: An entrance exam for admission to private engineering colleges in Karnataka.
JEE Main: National-level exam scores are also accepted by many colleges for admission.
